Ceramic ferrite magnets are a type of rare earth magnet, but they are not the strongest. They are stronger than our flexible magnets, but not as strong as neodymium rare earth magnets. The magnets on this listing are most suitable for everyday crafting purposes and not for industrial use. You can make fridge magnets with these and they are a stronger magnetic option to our flexible magnets, but they will not be strong enough to hold up metal objects such tools or drill bits.

We recommend researching carefully the differences between ceramic ferrite and neodymium magnets to see which is most suitable for your use. As well as this, different sizes and thicknesses will have different magnetic strengths.
If you are unsure at all about whether these magnets are suitable for your project, please contact us so we can advise you. It’s much better that you get the right thing the first time round, rather than ordering and finding out these are unsuitable for your project. However, if you do order them and find them unsuitable, please contact us!

Small parts, such as pen lids and magnets, can cause a choking hazard. Please keep away from children under 3 years and supervise older children at all times.
Strong magnets should ALWAYS be kept away from children. Small magnets can cause blood blisters, cuts and serious injury if swallowed. If more than one magnet is swallowed, this can cause life-threatening injuries which will require surgery, as the magnets can attract to each other through the walls of the intestines, pinching the lining and causing an obstruction. Always keep all neodymium magnets out of the reach of children.
